It seems after Gametribe died of death, it's been less encouraging to push forwards with Dream F1 because the "community" as it were haven't been able to communicate with each other easily. This meant DeadMan's commitment to the News Portal ended almost immediately after Monaco and we're now almost 8 races further on in the Championship. Naturally, Timo's efforts have never been forgotten but he's a busy guy... and combined with my summer holiday I'm not near a computer so much these days either.

I want to thank everybody who has continued playing in this difficult time and I'd like to congratulate The Dog, who after a 3rd and 2nd place in the past two seasons of Dream F1 is looking like a very strong contender of going one better for 2004!!! Maybe only 2003's (and part of 2004's) unstoppable Rogue may be able to close this great gap.

If anybody has any information about sponsors or has any great ideas that would improve Dream F1 in 2005; we would of course love to hear from you at admin@dreamf1.com - The future of Dream F1 could very well depend on even the slightest piece of information you may hold; as our very kind free hosting that we've enjoyed since 2002 will expire come December. We don't want to feel like we're flogging a dead horse and if we are to continue, expect a good challenge, good community spirit and new features... but none of that is possible without the most important bit... ummm... YOU GUYS/GIRLS!

Now for the backlog of confirmed results:

European GP Race Results
Canadian GP Race Results
US GP Race Results
French GP Race Results
British GP Race Results
German GP Race Results
Hungarian GP Race Results

I bet you were worried there I'd list them all, eh? (Well, I was worried I'd have to anyway!!)

Don't forget to predict for the number car that applies in this time of driver-switching. So if Ralf Schumacher and Christiano Da Matta aren't driving, a prediction for them will apply for whoever is driving their number car that weekend; so backing Da Matta at Hungary means you predicted for Ricardo Zonta. Etc...

Make sure to predict for the Belgian Grand Prix before Saturday 28th August - when predictions will be locked! Good luck to you all.

DF:Q has now been updated for those 10 bonus points to be won from the European Grand Prix!! Get going, and good luck!

With regards to some of our other problems, the forums and therefore your user profiles are currently down - this is a problem unfortunately very much out of our hands. This is why you'll be receiving the Green Monkeys... error message rather than your Personal Message information.

New forums and profiles will be constructed accordingly if in due time (1 month duration) if it seems our associates, Gametribe, will not be coming back to 'play' with us.  We sincerely hope this is not the case.

We have been having problems with the mail sending on some of our news articles. This may be related to Gametribe being down, it may not. I have compiled a list of email addresses that have caused us problems with sending failed errors. If you know you may have changed address or input the wrong one - then please email me: cats[at]dreamf1[dot]com and I will set it straight while  user profiling is down!

If you've received this mailing then just presume everything is OK for you!

Make sure that your predictions are in by midnight tonight folks, sorry about the late reminder but I'm sure most of you are on the Net every evening!

There is a DF:Q that will go bye-bye's from Monday after the race, so make sure to take 2 minutes (or less, clever clogs) of your time to answer the questions I so painstakingly set for you.

Good luck my childs.

.:Stewards take no action in Montoya-Schu shunt
Race stewards at the Monaco grand prix say that they cannot apportion blame for the incident that removed Michael Schumacher from the lead of the event.

The incident happened when Michael Schumacher was hit by Montoya while under the safety car. Schumacher appeared to sped up and then hit his brakes and this caught Montoya off guard and he ended up hitting him and sending him into the barrier ending Schumacher's race.

.:Trulli on pole at Monaco
Jarno Trulli who has shown impressive pace all weekend in his Renault around Monaco claimed pole position for the Monaco grand prix. This was the first pole position of the year for Renault and more importantly it is Trulli’s first pole position of his career.

The Italian lapped the 3.340km street circuit in 1:13.985s, which is a new lap record. Ralf Schumacher set the second fastest time, lapping in just under four-tenths of a second, but because of an engine change on Thursday he had to drop ten places and will start the race in 12th position.

Jenson Button is second on the grid ahead of Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher.
